Ready Force Cyber is committed to providing high-quality mentorship to aspiring cybersecurity professionals. To ensure a successful mentorship experience, we have established the following eligibility requirements for individuals interested in becoming mentors in our program: 

Professional Experience:  

• Tier 1: A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience working in the cybersecurity field. 
• Tier 2: A minimum of 6 years of demonstrable experience working in the cybersecurity field. 
• Tier 3: A minimum of 10+ years of demonstrable experience working in the cybersecurity field. 
• Proven expertise in at least one core cybersecurity domain (e.g., network security, incident response, threat intelligence, application security, etc.). 
• Experience mentoring or coaching others is highly preferred. 

Education:  

• A bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred. 
• Tier 3: A master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred. 
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 

Industry Certifications:  

• Possession of relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, etc.) is highly valued. 

Background Check:  

• All mentors are subject to a background check to ensure the safety and security of our program participants.

Stipend 

Based on funding availability, a stipend maybe offered to mentors as a token of appreciation for their time and dedication to the program.
